Celebration of Life Menu Selections

To free your mind from making extensive menu decisions at this difficult time, we often suggest the two most popular catering packages below for your Celebration of Life event. If need be, we can also help you with other menu selections.

Selection 1: Deli-style buffet with assorted meats, cheeses, breads, roasted vegetables, salads, desserts and beverages.

Selection 2: Warm chafing dish entrée with roasted vegetables, assorted salads, breads, desserts and beverages.

Price Range

Due to the short notice for Celebration of Life funeral and memorial events, we require full advance payment. Encore Performance Catering can meet your needs with fast, reliable service in as little as one to two days' notice; however, full upfront payment is expected. Prices are $32 per person, which includes local sales tax.* Additionally, a minimum fee of $50 will be applied for all waste and/or recycling removal. For Celebration of Life catering, our minimum is 50 guests. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

* Some venues may require additional labor fees.

Location Convenience

We bring our Celebration of Life services to the place most convenient for you. We have catered at religious halls and schools, memorial funeral homes, large homes or family backyards and other locations.

Respectful Staffing

Since this is such a emotional time for family and friends, we take additional steps to be sensitive to your catering wishes. Our staff is always courteous and extremely professional. We will help you on short notice, arrive and set up early and stay late to clean up. We even provide to-go food containers for any leftovers the family wishes to take home.

Staffing is based on a 2 hour serving period.

Food Preparation Standards

We prepare our food with exquisite care and serve only the freshest seasonal produce. We provide generous portions of balanced, nutritious food. Our catered items are always beautifully arranged and presented. We practice exceptionally high cleanliness standards and have State Board of Health certification. All leftover and unwanted food is donated to St. Anthony's Church in Redwood City.

Appropriate Decor

For an additional fee, we will take care of floral arrangements, appropriate background music, special lighting, and the rental of linens, tables, chairs, glassware, china and flatware. We can also help you with decorations for a memorial table or provide other special props to suit your needs for your Celebration of Life event.
